SAN DIEGO-Juno Cho will serve as the new head of LG Mobile Phones, the mobile handset division of LG Electronics USA Inc. Cho will oversee LG Mobile Phones North American development, manufacturing and marketing efforts, as well as strategic planning, carrier relationships and business development.
“Juno Cho brings years of strategic planning, business development and telecom experience to the office of president, LG Mobile Phones,”said Michael Ahn, president and chief executive officer of LG Electronics USA. “We look to Mr. Cho to build upon LG’s victories in the handset market and continue the successful growth of LG Mobile Phones, which coincides with our major effort to position LG as a premium brand and top-tier player in all of our key product categories.”
Cho is an LG veteran, starting with the company in 1986.
