PARIS-Alcatel Corp. said it won multiple GSM expansion contracts from China Mobile valued at more than $50 million.
Under the agreements, Alcatel will expand the capacity of China Mobile’s networks mainly in Zhejiang, Guizhou and Chongqing. The French supplier will install its Evolium line of base stations, base station controllers and mobile switching centers, along with operations and maintenance services.
