CHICAGO, Ill.-A week after its earnings report, Motorola Inc. said it plans to cut 1,100 more jobs as part of its plans to cut costs and become profitable. The positions have not been identified.
This more recent slash, which will bring its work force to 90,000, will come through attrition and adds to the 1,900 jobs that will be lost to outsourcing and were announced earlier this year.
