FAIRFAX, Va.-Audiopoint has begun commercial distribution through Simply Wireless and other resellers of its new Voice Terminal Service 2.0, which permits voice-enabled e-mail retrieval and management from any handset.
VTS supports mobile users without immediate access to an Internet connection. It allows them to listen to an e-mail from an existing e-mail account in-box. The service, whose monthly average cost is $10, also permits them to use voice commands to delete, skip, sort and filter messages and to compose and reply to messages.
