BEIJING-Nine CDMA operators attended the CDMA Operators Summit 2002 hosted by China United Telecommunications, parent of New York-listed China Unicom.
Vice President Wang Jianzhou called on the operators to increase cooperation, sharing of resources and experience and roaming services.
The summit is to become an annual event.
China Unicom has signed up more than 6.3 million users on its CDMA network and is likely to reach its 7 million users target by year-end.
