Keith to head AT&T Wireless Mobility Operations

REDMOND, Wash.-AT&T Wireless Services Inc. reported that Michael Keith will replace Mohan Gyani as president of its Mobility Operations beginning in January.

The carrier said Gyani, who has been president of AT&T Wireless since March 2000, would work with Keith for the remainder of the year to ensure a smooth transition, and will continue to represent AT&T Wireless in industry forums and on certain boards.

Keith currently oversees the operations of TeleCorp PCS, which AT&T Wireless acquired earlier this year.
