SAN JOSE, Calif.-Wireless provisioning company Pixo Inc. announced Sun Microsystems Inc.’s Southern Europe, Africa & Middle East business will resell the company’s Mobile Download Server.
The download system server software that allows carriers to manage delivering wireless content and Java applications over the air to their subscribers.
“Wireless Java provisioning systems, like Pixo’s Mobile Download Server, are a key part of the solution operators need to generate increased data ARPU today,” said Claudio Condini, wireless practice manager of Sun Professional Services SEAME. “We are pleased to be working with Pixo to accelerate the adoption of wireless Java.”
