NEW YORK-Radiant Telecom and Comstar Interactive Corp. have teamed up to allow for the wireless sale of prepaid communications products.
By integrating Radiant’s Prepaid POS application with Comstar’s CHARGE ANYwhere wireless credit card processing solution, delivery drivers, flea market attendants and cab drivers can offer customers prepaid long-distance, wireless, Internet, dial tone and bankcard products.
“The ability to conveniently and cost effectively recharge prepaid products from a wireless device will help further the transition to prepaid dominance in the American telecommunications marketplace,” said Apurve Mehra, Radiant’s vice president of strategy. “We have seen tremendous interest from credit card ISOs, taxicab and delivery businesses looking to capitalize on the prepaid explosion.”
