MetroPCS launches new ad campaign

DALLAS-MetroPCS Inc., which offers a fixed-price unlimited local calling service in Miami, Atlanta and Sacramento-Calif., plans to roll out a new general market and Hispanic advertising campaign beginning next month marking the carrier’s first venture into television advertising.

The company said the advertisements will stress that wireless service should be priced by the month and not by the minute and attempt to extend its “no nonsense” appeal to its core market of teens, parents, young professionals and ethnic groups.

MetroPCS has already launched a pair of 60-second radio advertisements.
