WATERBURY, Conn.-MTS Holdings L.L.C. announced it has purchased American Tower Corp.’s MTS Wireless Components, Vancomm, Site Advantage and S&S Dynamic operations throughout the United States and Asia.
The investor group includes prior Microwave Tower Service Inc. owner Tom Carpenter and President Ernie Carpenter, current MTS Holdings’ Chief Executive Officer and President Peter J. Sandore, consultant John Williamson and supplier Eric Lester. Under this new structure, each investor will assume board and senior management roles within the company, MTS said.
“As a private company, we can now focus all of our energy on increasing our domestic market share while concurrently implementing our aggressive international expansion initiatives,” said Sandore.
MTS designs and manufactures a range of infrastructure support components through its MTS Wireless Components and MTS International entities. Through its S&S Dynamic Manufacturing operation, the company maintains high-capacity stamping operations for the automotive, hardware and electrical industries. MTS Holdings also provides high-quality construction services via its affiliated company, flecTower Inc.
