LAROSE, La.-SJI Inc. announced James Callahan has been made president and chief operating officer of its wireless communications subsidiary MobileTel Inc. and will serve as a member of the board of directors at both MobileTel and SJI.
For the past two years, Callahan was vice president of the telecommunications division of SOLA Communications. Prior to that, he held several positions with SJI’s Lafourche Telephone Co. (Latelco), including information systems and accounting manager.
