T-Mobile chooses Zeta-Jones as global spokeswoman

BELLEVUE, Wash.—VoiceStream Wireless Corp.’s parent company T-Mobile International Inc. announced actress Catherine Zeta-Jones would be the global spokeswoman for the company’s various wireless services. For the U.S. market, Zeta-Jones will replace current VoiceStream spokeswoman Jamie Lee Curtis whose contract runs out at the end of the year.

The new campaign, which will use the Get More with T-Mobile tag line, is scheduled to start this summer in California with the debut of the T-Mobile brand name replacing the VoiceStream name in the U.S. and will follow shortly in the United Kingdom and the rest of the U.S. and Europe by the end of the year.
