WASHINGTON—The White House will host a high-tech summit next Thursday. The meeting between President Bush and high-tech industry executives is expected to include discussion about where the administration is headed on broadband Internet policy and how technology can contribute to homeland security. It is unclear whether wireless industry leaders will be present to lobby the administration to force the Pentagon to surrender spectrum for third-generation wireless systems.
