HERNDON, Va.—Fiducianet Inc., a service bureau dedicated to helping telecommunications carriers outsource their CALEA compliance, subpoena processing and court ordered technical assistance in support of law enforcement, began activating customer contracts at the beginning of this month.
“Changes in wiretap laws and recent events, have placed new demands and responsibilities on the telecommunications carriers,” said Michael Warren, who heads the company. “Many of these carriers want to comply with the new requirements but they just cannot afford to. We solve that problem for them.”
Warren, a 29-year veteran of the FBI, was in charge of CALEA implementation for the bureau before retiring in September 2000.
