KANSAS CITY, Mo.—Sprint PCS launched its Project Connect nationwide phone collection and recycling campaign benefiting Easter Seals and the National Organization on Disability.
Wireless users are being asked to donate their previously used handsets at Sprint stores and participating Easter Seals locations where they will be either recycled or resold with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the charities. Award-winning actress Marlee Matlin is serving as the national spokesman for the campaign.
