BEIJING—Motorola Inc. said it has demonstrated the first high-speed audio and data call through a live, completely integrated end-to-end UMTS system in several locations in China.
“During the demonstrations, visitors were able to experience real-time videoconferences, play online games, enjoy high-speed Internet browsing, e-mail and deliver short message services from the UMTS system to current commercialized GSM handsets,” said Motorola in a statement.
