TOKYO—NTT DoCoMo Inc. plans to introduce additional countermeasures next month against forged-domain spam mail. The carrier said the additional measures are due to “spammers” forging other carriers’ domain names to circumvent current measures allowing DoCoMo customers to restrict incoming e-mails to a maximum of 10 user-designated domains.
The new measures include upgrades to DoCoMo’s i-mode center designed to block forged-domain spam mail.
