Nacchio named chairman of NSTAC

DENVER—Qwest Communications International Inc. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Joseph Nacchio has taken over as chairman of President George Bush’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee.

The NSTAC is a group of 30 telecommunications and technology industry CEOs that advises the president and other key government leaders or officials in meetings held several times annually.
