Arlington, Ill.—Motorola Inc. has reiterated its forecast for global industrywide mobile sales to be between 380 million and 400 million units for the year 2001.
However, Mike Zafirovski, president of Motorola’s personal communications sector, said he expects an upbeat picture for 2002 of between 420 million and 460 million units.
