BURLINGTON, Mass.—Envoy Networks announced it has completed testing of its advanced cellular network architecture by linking an IS-95 air interface with SIP.
According to Envoy, the technology will allow wireless carriers to reduce capital expenses because it enables the use of standard IP-base, wireline network equipment in the wireless network.
