STOCKHOLM, Sweden—Ericsson said it won a GSM network expansion order from Thailands’ AIS mobile operator worth US$60 million. The order covers network infrastructure and service solutions for AIS’ GSM 900 MHz and 1800 MHz networks.
Ericsson said AIS has more than 3.5 million clients on its GSM 900 MHz network, while Digital Phone Company, AIS’s GSM 1800 MHz system, has 280,000 subscribers.
