CMG to provide technology for European i-mode services

AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands—Several European operators have chosen CMG Wireless Data Solutions’ technology to facilitate pan-European i-mode-based services, CMG said, although it declined to name the operators. CMG said it will provide the operators with the capability to deploy both i-mode and Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) services in European markets with one common service architecture and infrastructure on General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) networks.
