PLANO, Texas—Mobile Internet consultancy and SmartTrust partner AU-System today said it will offer a gateway technology to carriers, which the company said will speed up time-to-market for deploying mobile products and services.
The product, built around SmartTrust’s Wireless Internet Gateway technology, will offer pre-built applications, including ready-to-launch news, weather, information and commercial services. AU-System said operators will be able to cut their delivery time to six weeks.
“Combined with SmartTrust’s Wireless Internet Gateway software, which makes the delivery of WML to both WAP and current generation SAT+2 handsets possible, we can allow customers to trial secure mobile e-services and qualify interest amongst the subscriber base with minimal investment,” said Hakan Persson, AU-System’s business area manager for operators.
