BUCHAREST, Romania—Vodafone Albania launched its GSM mobile telephone service less than six months after it secured the license. Vodafone Albania, 49-percent owned by Panafon-Vodafone, Greece’s leading mobile telecommunications operator, and 51 percent by Vodafone Group Plc, a global telecommunications operator.
Vodafone Albania will initially launch its GSM network in the metropolitan areas of Tirana, Durres, Elbasan, Fier, Shkoder, Lac, Fushe Kruje, Lezhe and Sarande.
Vodafone Albania will launch two postpaid tariff packages and one prepaid package, all of which include per-second billing
