GOTEBORG, Sweden—WirelessCar is partnering with Aether Systems Inc. to create a telematics platform capable of supporting a range of wireless networks, standards and protocols, the companies said.
WirelessCar’s universal telematics network will be combined with Aether Fusion, a foundation for wireless access, deployment and hosting services.
“Through this partnership we have built a telematics infrastructure that can support all of today’s requirements for wireless communications, whether it’s GSM, CDPD or other wireless data networks,” said Jan Hellaker, president and chief executive officer of WirelessCar.
