WESTBOROUGH, Mass.-Arch Wireless Inc.’s new Business Solutions Group has launched a client-based messaging server that will allow corporate clients to integrate wireless messaging, e-mail, voice mail, fax, Internet, intranet and legacy systems.
The solution allows communication between different devices by converting messages into the appropriate format for the receiving device. “The Arch messaging server, with its capability of integrating virtually all business communications methods and devices, offers a single source wireless solution that provides virtual office functionality,” said Lyndon R. Daniels, Arch’s president and chief operating officer.
Arch plans to offer several other messaging engines targeted at corporate environment in the future, the company said.
