LAS VEGAS-Qualcomm Inc. and Korea Telecom Freetel, a Personal Communications Services operator, will partner to commercially launch cdma2000 1xEV in major cities in Korea during the second quarter of 2002. Successful technical trials of the 1xEV have been completed.
