RESTON, Va.-Nextel Communications Inc. announced alliances with DST Innovis and PeopleSoft to provide Nextel Wireless Web customers with customer relationship management solutions allowing mobile sales representatives, field technicians and dispatchers in the cable and satellite TV business to improve customer care, communications and efficiency while in the field.
Nextel also said it has improved the customer set-up process for its existing Nextel Industry Solution eDispatch applications, enabling dispatchers and mobile workers to communicate with each other securely and in real time.
