PLEASANTON, Calif.-Adicom Wireless announced it received a purchase commitment for its wireless access systems, which will be deployed throughout Russia. The commitment for 75 SI2000 Aditus Systems came through its OEM partner Iskratel. The two companies are currently engaged in completing certification requirements in Russia. The first commercial deployment is scheduled to start in June 2001.
The initial systems will be deployed in the Moscow and Ekaterinburg regions, and will soon be followed by other areas throughout Russia over the next 3 years, said the company.
