FCC signs up 29 co-sponsors for Indian meeting

WASHINGTON-The Federal Communications Commission said it has signed up 29 co-sponsors for the Indian Telecom Training Initiative (ITTI 2000) to be held Sept. 25-28 in St. Paul, Minn.

Co-sponsors include Alltel Corp., AT&T Corp., Ericsson Inc., Globalstar L.P., Lucent Technologies Inc., Lukas, Nace, Gutierrez & Sachs, SBC Communications Inc., Qwest Communications International Inc., Verizon Communications and Western Wireless Corp.

More than 50 speakers are expected to make presentations at ITTI 2000, the FCC said.
