PHOENIX-Verizon Wireless introduced a series of regional calling plans enabling Arizona and New Mexico customers to use their included anytime minutes throughout five Southwestern states free of roaming charges.
Long-distance charges still apply to calls to and from different local calling areas under the new regional calling plans in Arizona, New Mexico, California, Nevada and Hawaii.
Most of Verizon’s calling plans allow customers to choose either no long-distance charges to anywhere in the United States or a package of 500 free night and weekend minutes.
