CLAREMONT, Calif.-Wolfe Tech Corp. lowered its pricing structure for the PocketGenie Internet-based information service, the company’s flagship product.
The company now is offering unlimited access to PocketGenie for $15 a month. Previously it was priced at $30 a month. WolfeTech also introduced a second plan allowing users to access the PocketGenie service 50 times a month for $10.
PocketGenie requires Wolfe Tech technology installed on a given wireless device for it to access its various information channels. It has 200 pre-set services such as stock quotes, financial information, news, sports, flight information and package tracking, among others. In addition, it features a Hypertext-Markup-Language-based microbrowser providing access to any Web URL.
Version 3.1 of the software is scheduled to be released this month.
