NEW YORK-Internet users currently using online financial services are far more likely to extend these services to their wireless devices than Internet users not currently using these services, according to a recent report from Internet customer relationship management company Cyber Dialogue.
The report was based on a survey of Internet users who were asked what type of services they would like on their cellular phones. Of those not using online financial trading services, most expressed interest in checking account balances and using e-mail. Checking stock quotes, paying bills and conducting stock trades trailed in the results.
Yet of those already using online services, 95 percent are interested in trading investments and 93 percent are interested in checking stock quotes on their wireless phone.
