ALAMEDA, Calif.-Geoworks Corp. launched its Mobile Site service as a complement to its existing Mobile ASP solution. Mobile Site pulls data from a Web site and reformats it for wireless device languages and technologies, the company said.
Mobile ASP is a more robust and customized solution that provides consulting, technology and other services to companies who wish to extend their Web content wirelessly. Geoworks said the Mobile Site service is a quick-to-market scheme, which customers may choose to upgrade to Mobile ASP over time.
