HELSINKI, Finland-Nokia Corp. said it has delivered more than 30 General Packet Radio Service core networks around the world.
“An investment in GPRS infrastructure is an investment in future services,” commented Dr. JT Bergqvist, senior vice president of Nokia Networks. “Many of these future 3G services will be based on IPv6 and the GPRS core network is the key step in introducing the [Internet Protocol] service platform into the present [Global System for Mobile communications] networks.”
