DALLAS-WebLink Wireless Inc. added three companies to its Enterprise Solutions Partner program-InfoSoft Inc., Mobile Computing Corp. and SolutionLand.com Corp.
InfoSoft and Mobile Computing said they will use WebLink’s network for their dispatch applications targeting the courier and transportation industries. SolutionLand said it will provide system integration and customer spec development, as well as use the network to offer two-way wireless communication between service centers and field engineers in the service industry.
Additionally, the company announced a strategic partnership with LynkUs.com to provide free Internet content and information to WebLink pagers. Two-way paging customers may request information by sending an e-mail to Sidekick, LynkUs.com’s information on demand service. Sidekick then sends a return message with the desired information.
Subjects include stock quotes, weather forecasts, driving directions, yellow or white pages, and flight information.
