STOCKHOLM, Sweden-Glocalnet, a Swedish company that develops and produces communications services, said it plans to apply for a Universal Mobile Telecommunications System license in Sweden.
In a statement, the company criticized the Swedish government regarding “weaknesses” of bills currently being considered in the Swedish Riksdag or legislature. The company criticized a lack of opportunity to obtain a rapid resolution to disputes between telecom operators and prohibitions on competition.
The bills pending in the Riksdag deal with national roaming and network capacity.
