CHICAGO-Safco Technologies Inc. unveiled a program to provide secure Internet access to its RECON database on wireless network performance.
The database stores call quality information, call statistics, engineering parameters, infrastructure and carrier information, as well as geographic coverage of the wireless networks examined in the company’s benchmarking initiatives.
“SAFCO set the standard for information pertaining to wireless network performance when we launched our benchmarking practice,” said Marty Singer, president and chief executive officer of SAFCO. “Now SAFCO’s flexible eRECON database changes the way the industry examines its performance.”
According to SAFCO, the eRECON database includes data from more than 60 wireless markets, 380 networks and nearly 1 million calls.
