SANTA BARBARA, Calif.-Software.com Inc. announced it will acquire @mobile.com Inc. for about $400 million in a stock transaction.

@mobile.com is a wireless Internet application service provider offering wireless instant messaging technology and wireless intelligent network integration experience.
