FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.-BarPoint.com unveiled an alliance with Motorola Inc. under which the two will make BarPoint’s UPC-based shopping and information services accessible from Motorola TimePort Internet-enabled phones.
Using BarPoint.com’s technology, the phones will be able to scan the bar codes of given products and compare their prices with BarPoint.com’s competitive pricing database, all through a one-touch connection.
