CHARLOTTE, N.C.-Glenayre Technologies Inc. said it ended negotiations to sell its Quincy, Ill., manufacturing plant to Solectron.
The two signed a letter of intent earlier this year calling for Solectron to buy the radio-frequency design and manufacturing assets of the facility and assume all manufacturing responsibilities there. Glenayre officials said negotiations revealed “the proposed agreement was not a good fit.”
Glenayre said it will continue to look for other outsourcing suppliers.
