KANSAS CITY, Mo.-Sprint PCS announced short messaging service is available to its wireless
customers. All Sprint PCS customers who have voice mail have the additional option of receiving numeric pages
directly on their personal communications services phone at no extra charge.
Text messages up to 100 characters are
$2 per month for up to 30 text messages a month or $10 for a maximum of 500 messages per month, said Sprint PCS.
Customers can receive their messages through a designated Sprint PCS Web site, any Internet accessible e-mail
account or through special TAP-compatible messaging software.
