DULLES, Va.-Orbcomm Global L.P. said its European service licensee, MCS Europe, will
announce to its business partners at the “Doing Business in Europe ’99” trade show and conference, the
official launch of the first commercial satellite two-way data messaging service in Europe.
Orbcomm said MCS
Europe has the exclusive license to market Orbcomm in the European territory. MCS Europe will provide companies
with full access to low-cost two-way satellite data messaging, monitoring and tracking services via Orbcomm’s low-
earth-orbit satellite network.
“Europe is obviously one of the world’s most vital business markets, with a wide
range of industries that will benefit from Orbcomm’s service,” said Scott L. Webster, chairman and chief
executive officer of Orbcomm.
