In the July 27 issue of RCR, the name of Mike Engle, vice president of international sales and worldwide marketing for Tadiran Microwave Networks, was misspelled.

Also in that issue, Craig McCaw was given the wrong title at Nextel Communications Inc. McCaw is a board member of Nextel. The McCaw family plans to invest a total of $1.6 billion in Nextel.

A headline in the July 27 issue should have stated, “GSM group lobbies European Commission.”

Due to incorrect information provided to RCR, Activator Systems Inc.’s business was incorrectly stated. ASI’s sAfeXchange provides point-of-sale key pad entry of A-keys and System Identifiers using “mechanical fingers.”

Also, in the July 20 issue, the story, “Motorola denies charge it transferred technology to China,” should have reflected Motorola Inc.’s view that the Chinese have done multiple satellite launches since September 1981, but only more recently (early 1990s) are assumed to have acquired multiple warhead capability.
