SUNNYVALE, Calif.-TAL Wireless Networks Inc., formerly American Phoenix Group Inc., filed a voluntary petition for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California.
The company provides wireless data communications services to customers located primarily in developing economies. TAL focuses on providing alternatives to wireline services, such as Wireless Local Loop and Wireless Wide Area Networks.
It has operations in Alaska, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, China and the Philippines.
