LUXEMBOURG-Millicom International Cellular S.A., a global telecom operator, boasted a 131,404 increase in new cellular subscribers compared with the last quarter.
This brings the company’s worldwide subscriber base to 838,709, up significantly from last year’s third quarter figure of 418,966, a gain of 100 percent.
This year’s third quarter new subscriber figure marks a 112 percent increase when compared with the same period last year.
Millicom’s worldwide operations include those in Latin America, Asia, Europe and Africa.
