MURRAY HILL, N.J.-Lucent Technologies Inc. said it has received Code Division Multiple Access infrastructure contracts valued at $178 million from network operators in the United States and Korea.
The contract in Korea, which the company values at $93 million, was awarded to a consortium including Lucent and Hanwha Telecommunications Co. Ltd. The agreement was with Hansol PCS, one of three licensed personal communications services providers in the country.
