SEATTLE-GTE Wireless launched its personal communications services network in the Seattle major trading area covering the greater Puget Sound region. The network uses Code Division Multiple Access technology.
GTE activated its first PCS network in February in Cincinnati, and its other network in Spokane, Wash., is scheduled to be launched later this year.
