CHANDLER, Ariz.-IsoQuantic Technologies L.L.C. signed a product licensing agreement with an undisclosed telecommunications systems supplier to develop mobile switching center and base station controller software for mobile satellite communications.
Under the agreement, IsoQuantic has licensed its Corbacell middleware to develop wireless systems supporting Global System for Mobile communications technology. The product enables distributed, platform independent multimedia communications applications to be developed.
IsoQuantic said it specializes in developing methods of overload and congestion control in broadband networks, algorithms for computing performance measures, methods for decision analysis and support, methods for designing distributed cellular and other wireless networks and their software architectures, methods for network topological design and techniques of telecommunications system simulation and modeling.
