ARLINGTON HEIGHTS-NetCom GSM, a Norwegian cellular network operator, announced its trial DCS 1800 digital cellular system. The system, supplied and commissioned by Motorola Inc.’s European Cellular Infrastructure Division, follows the award of a three-year trial license to NetCom from the Norwegian government. NetCom initially plans to provide service on the central east side of Oslo with the trial system. Select subscribers will use the network and Motorola will supply handsets.
